Don't feel bad, we all have those moments. At least you unlocked the memory. Trouble is when its gone for good. As for the pool, I think we should be due for a fill up for the next round, so stay alert and start thinking about your picks. Maybe we'll get lucky and some of those sites will update the stats. If not, you can always use the pool end tally for each leg on the pick list. Challenged yes, but I'm not completely out of touch. Jo

Its been driving me crazy for ages now and I only just remembered where I had heard of Scarlet Town before.....the first verse of the song "Barbara Allen" goes........ In Scarlet town where I was born/ There was a fair maid dwelling/ And every youth cried well away/ For her name was Barbara Allen. Must be old age catching up with me I couldn't remember until today when I played the song and there it was. I knew I'd heard it somewhere before.lol Thanks Bob

Well folks that's it for the first leg,not the most memorable tour we've ever had but G/T led the way with some nice picks.Meinhard and our captain also played well but sadly Crow and I didn't see the Tempest coming and with hindsight maybe we could have.Should be a close pool next time if Bob keeps playing the same set-list lol but are we really that surprised?Bob's done it before with the "Gospel" music when he never varied his set-lists much and to be honest at the end of the last tour we were all calling out for the Tempest songs to be played so I guess Bobby just gave us what we asked for ....maybe !!! Hope you all enjoyed the tour I'll be here next time hope you all can join me ...Cheers for now

When it comes to computer/internet challenged I'm sure I can compete with anyone here. Feel free to post away- I might learn something.

I guess I haven't missed much (but y'all) and I suspect that the same old has gotten everyone down by now, but, as I'm sure you've heard, the next leg begins on June 26, albeit stateside, so let's not lose focus just yet. While I'll be at Jones Beach on July 27, for the sake of my Anglo Bro's, I'm pulling for a tour of the Isles in the third round. Tomorrow is a long time, I know, but there it is. Jo PS Thanks, M. for your suggestions. Shall I PM my further questions to you, or is the rest of the team interested(and as challenged as I)?

I am sorry for not getting back to you, Captain Jo. Dimeadozen.org is this place where you download bootlegs. I thought all Bob fans knew about it. A large percentage of what they put up there is Bob shows. The rules there are that absolutely no officially released music is allowed and the format has to be "lossless" (i.e. no mp3 etc), so a show is typically around ½ GB. - You need to sign up (it's free) and you need to download a Bit Torrent program. The one I have is called Bit Torrent. - They have a rule that says that you need to upload a quarter of what you download. So you may want to download something that has just been uploaded - preferably something popular - and then keep your files open. Don't delete them and keep the Bit Torrent program open. It doesn't slow down your computer. If you get a healthy flow of down- and upload, then you can download lots of good music. - Feel free to ask, but I think I've said most of what you need to know.

Please forgive my silence, Bro's, but I assure you it won't last! I understand that there is not much competition at this point and we seem to be in a holding pattern until things have changed. Still, I am pleased with our place given the situation. My only regret is that I am not able to find a program to listen to the Dimeadozen posts, so M, please advise if you will. Ta ta for now, J.

Hi G/T ...our cups are not just half-full but they're spilling over. Bob is still playing live music, the pool has been saved and we still have the same wonderful team we've had for 5 or 6 tours who could ask for more. Oh yeah and it's sunny here for once....Spring is in the air. Any news yet on Bob coming to the UK this year ? Keep smiling.

After all the top 10 finishes we've had 44th place seems pretty low. But B-6 you are definitely a "cup is half full" kind of a guy! And you are right about trying to predict Bob. Just when you think you've figured out when he is going to zig he zags- or moves in some direction you have never even considered. And we wouldn't want it any other way, would we?

Why so quiet around here folks? G/T and Meinhard are doing very well with Jolene not so very far behind them so although we've been more successful in the past we should have known to never take Bob for granted cos just when you think you know what's coming he's gonna shake it up again.I still hold out some hope that we can climb up the ranks a few places before the tour ends and the mid 40's isn't all that bad,(I remember my mid 40's .... good times lol or just a good memory) Keep smiling folks there's lots more to come..... Cheers

I don't know if you are Dimeadozen users, but in case you are not, you need to sign up. It is free. (It is a torrent site with non-official material only.) I see there are two versions of the Amherst show. This is the other one. A "Dylan" search should provide with everything you need to find. http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=445945

It is uncharacteristic to have essentially the same set repeatedly, yet it makes you wish you could hear it just once. Share the link if you have it M, and as for the rest, take heart, I feel a change coming on. 'ya know??

As they say in sports, there's a lot of league left to be played. - I'm all for the setlists. It's great that there is focus on newer material, not least the Tempest songs. I just finished downloading the Amherst show and my brother and I listened to a few of the songs. It sounds great, his voice is good, and it is fantastic to hear the new songs. It's like they strut their feathers and tell us that they are as good as the others. Pay in Blood and Scarlet Town went straight under the skin.

I had to laugh last night while I was watching the live set-list and other comments being posted on expectingrain.com Someone had the nerve to complain that already the tour is boring cos Bob hardly changed his set from the opening night.Just a few short months ago the same person was calling for Tempest songs and now that Bob obliges they still aren't happy lol You can please some of the people some of the time and maybe most of the people most of the time but you cant please all of the people all of the time/even if youre a genius like our Bob.Well done G/T Meinhard and jolene I can still see you three but you're disappearing fast ahead of me and the Crow but who knows what tomorrow night may bring. It's great being part of this team and I'm sooo happy the pool has been saved.Keep up the good work

Toes?? I'm on air! even if we're not near the top. Funny though, how noone did better than the 200's, but that as a team we're in the 40's. Go figure. Anyone find any clips yet??

Ok, showtime - and bedtime here. But if it's true that he's already played "Pay in Blood," "High Water" and "Visions," then it means I've already scored nearly 30 points, and he's not even half way through the show. - But let's not set our hopes too high.

Ok, I changed most of my picks, mainly based on bjorner.com. And for the record: I had "I Believe in You" but changed my mind and now have "Maggie's Farm" as wildcard.
