In July we didn't have a pooler of the month but the August POM is one that can be counted for two!

Please meet Busy Being Born

What part of Dylan's career do you admire most?

His Live performances from 1978 to the present - Bob's live, evolving sound, to me should go down as his crowning achievement.

Dylan's best official recording performance (one song)?

Standing In The Doorway from TOOM.

Fav live show attended, and why?

Tie - Amherst 99 - amazing "Bob in your living room" Highlands, great guest turns, this show was what made me realize how great Bob was Live.  And Florence 07 - the most consistently great show I've seen, many high points, and I was in about 10th row in an idyllic, small outdoor setting.

Worst live show attended, and why?

Holmdel August 9 2003 - a year with many great shows - this one was Bob going through the motions - he knew Nils would join him the next show (a great one) and it showed.

Favorite boot?

If I had to pick just one - Blackbushe 1978 recent upgrade - perhaps.

How did you find Dylan?

I don't recall - from many angles I'm sure.

How many shows have u attended?

I've been to about 50.

Dylan's weakest album?

Knocked Out Loaded - that's what he was alright - at least he was honest about it...

Your dream-setlist?

As Lambchop said - you play what you want to Bob. That said, any show with Highlands couldn't be too bad.

Favorite Dylan side-man?

Freddy Koella - a genius.

What makes Dylan unique to you?

His songwriting of course. I'd say his performance style, but actually, the more I get to know the incredible Miles Davis, whose great shows ended in 1975, I realize now that Bob picked up from him almost the exact moment Rolling Thunder began and he pretty much hasn't stopped since - Bob's performance style is unique
but he is so much what Miles also was

What song should bob retire from his current sets?

None, unless he wants to!

Your ideal opening act or co-headliner?

No One!

Favorite cereal?

hot oatmeal.

How would you describe dylan fans you've encountered?

Bobsessed, like me !

If Dylan could sing one song for you as a request, what would it be?

Highlands.

How much longer do you think he will tour?

Until his last dying day.

Favorite NET year?

keeps changing.

GA or seating?

Front row standing & dancing wildly so Bob can see that someone gets it.

Outdoor or indoor?

Outdoor, but would have to be a smallish venue too.

Fav movie?

Bridge over the River Kwai.

Which artist would u like to see bob cover?

I think at this point, perhaps somemore of the blues alltime great artists.

If you had to work for bob is some capacity...what would it be?

Archivist - that's what I do in general, just not for Bob (yet).
