The Neverendingpool is going to the next level! As from today everybody can build teams and in the next pool there will also be a team-ranking! Now, teams are a little bit different than in the old dylan pool. In the NEP, teams also are neverending. This means you can create a team and play with that same team across different tours. When you choose to create a team yourself you automatically become the captain of this team. In this game it is impossible to abandon a team you created so be sure you can find teammates before starting the team.
To create a team, go to your pool page (Pool link in the top menu) and click the "create new team" link. Enter the name of your team. If all goes well you now get the message your team has been succesfully created. Offcourse a team isn't much of a team without teammates. You can add members to your team by going to your team page (via your pool page, then click the team link). On the team page you can see a link 'invite other poolers' (only if you're the captain). When you click this link, you see a list of everybody with an account at the NEP. This doesn't necessarily mean that these people already submitted their entry forms! Check the checkboxes next to all the poolers you want to invite to your team and then click the invite button. Each team can hold 5 members (including the captain) but you can send more invitations. The poolers that you invited to join your team will now receive an email regarding the invitation. When they visit their pool page they will see the invitation and they will be given the possibility to accept or decline the invitation to join the team. Once a regular team member has joined he can see the teams pool page and post to the private team message board.
A regular team member is free to leave a team and join another one if he wants to! Offcourse you can only do this while bob is not touring. As long as a game is in progress, you are locked into your team. Once you have left a team you're free to start a new one or join another team. So, i think this more or less sums up the team feature. This hasn't been tested on a large number of users so may i kindly ask you to notify me if you run into some kind of error or strange behaviour. The pool Entry Form is coming soon!
