I believe it's just a short film/video for the song. At least that's what the accompanying text leads me to think....

Yeah, nothing like seeing a woman getting beat up then stabbing her man and running him over with a car-- I bet the makeup sex was great, though.

The video is awful Beating up women stabbing etc etc bears no relation to the lyrics

well, i like it. i think it's a great video. and i'm sure bob dylan agrees with me too. people should keep an open mind about these kinds of things.

Joe, what do you mean an open mind? Open to what? Enjoying seeing what appears to be senseless violence? Frankly, we have enough of that in the world. Does viewing it make us more or less likely to tolerate or engage in it?

I like violent films - reservoir dogs, natural born killers, etc....

... but this video is absolutely crap (could have used stronger word but wont)
Absolutely no reason for video whatsoever, and not even a good video. And brings nothing to the song (certainly no atmosphere)- doesn't even fit in with beat or rhythm of song. AWFUL

I preferred the video they use this song for as soundtrack for for the second season of True Blood, HBO vampire series from the states and that is saying a lot for me.

Why does violence sell? I much prefer some intellectual connection or scenes of beauty. This was not as violent, but bloody well bloody all the same.

Video is just terrible. If Dylan has any sense he will demand it be pulled immediately. No reason at all for a video like this.
