yes, CompleteUnknown, it likely was because I was in another country that created the money grab opportunity for which ever telcom profited from my volunteerism.
Whatever. I also 'volunteer' a lot in my small community, and it costs me to do that, too. Time &/or money. I consider it my 'donation' to this site. As a user, I think I've paid my dues for a bit...

I enjoy the texted set lists, I just hate the fees, but I'll won't harp on that issue anymore.

Wow. That's insane!
Do you have a PayPal account or something? I think we could round up many people here to give $1 or more (each) to that.
That's really not right. I know people can subscribe to text plans. For my phone I pay about $5/month for 1000 text messages...if I were to have no plan I'd pay anywhere from 10 cents to 25 cents/text.
There's no reason anyone here should have to pay $100 to text in the set list!

You know it would make things so much simpler if Bob just had someone send us the set - heck he could even do it himself. He wouldn't even have to text it - he could simply post a message here right before he glided onto the stage.
