Very short Australian Tour has just been announced. Shows in Melbourne, Sydney & Brisbane and Neil is headlining The Big Day Out (Australia's biggest musical event...very big with the kids).

Weighing up if I want to fly to Brisbane for it. Will wait to see how astronomical the ticket prices are first.

Is he playing both solo and with a band still?

Wow, that's quite a lineup at Farm Aid. Enjoy, diamond sky! I would try to catch The Pretenders, Steve Earle, and Dave Matthews as well as Neil Young. Personally, I'd pass on Willie.

But Willie is FarmAid, although I fail to see the point of it anymore.

Sorry, I like what Willie stands for and can even stomach his acting. I saw him open for Bob twice. That was 2 too many times. That little wavy thing he does with his hand is just plain stupid, and he played Whiskey River twice at both shows. Couldn't wait for him to leave the stage.

should be an interesting eve, i think.
hopefully, they'll have local farm fresh food vendors cuz, i'm looking forward to an ear of corn on the cob and a slice of watermellon.

anyhooo, we have seats under the roof of the shed and don't plan on arriving 'til after five to catch the headliners. we'll see whomever else is in that time slot. i'm hoping for jakob dylan.

bottom line, in good conscience, i have to attend a show like this in a town near me, sheesh..

i'm overdue for some straight after my own heart political talkin' and neil & willie, chrissie, steve, arlo, etc will do it for me.
i imagine this will be good for the spirit!
hope the rest of the crowd is likeminded.

As for the actual tour though... his site says he's playing the DCU Center in Worcester on December 13th. I've been checking the DCU site and it still hasn't been added to their event list. However, there are tickets for sale at stubhub. My friend called the DCU Center to ask about when the tickets will be going on sale and they told her the event isn't even confirmed yet.

So does anyone know anything about stubhub? How can they be selling tickets to an unconfirmed event? I emailed them and asked but never got a response after being told I would receive one in 12 hours.

Got mine for Everett WA 10/21 with Death Cab For Cutie opening. And best yet, my buddy got em at the venue and avoided the outrageous Ticketmaster charges.

Got tickets to Brisbane, Australia concert in January. Not the greatest tickets, but the good ones went crazily quick. Looking forward to it.

So just curious as to when tickets will be shipped. I got my presales through musictoday.com and realize I don't yet have hard tickets in my hands yet.

^ I want to say it was supposed to be within 10-12 days before the concert if I remember and if you don't have them within three you had to call and do a pick up or some other arrangement...

Well my two shows are finally here-tomorrow and Thursday, 10/29 and 10/30. Hoping to make COX Arena in the twilight and be at the rail by dusk. Never seen Neil from the rail.
