Please face the audience Mr Dylan 1 Week, 5 Days ago
Cant see any point in attending a show if Im looking at Bobs back for 90 mins .Did it last time I went to a show .I love his music always have but turning his back to half the audience and not saying a word cept to introduce the plodding band isnt very appealing

lol! thank GOD he doesn't say that.
I like how he just gets up there and plays, says thanks, and that's about it. In fact, I saw Radiohead this week and they hardly said anything to the crowd either. I pay 'em to sing, not to make small talk!

Dylan hasn't been a stage patter guy since the gospel days, so if you're expecting that, my apologies in advance. The last show I saw him was a year ago, and he faced the crowd for most of the show, so this must be a new development or just unique to your show.
One thing Bob SHOULD bring back is the goofy joke of the show. They always stink, but they're fun to hear.

I saw a 68 year old man play only a few weeks ago..he performed with utter brilliance his own breathtaking songs, some 46 years old and some from the modern time. He gave his all, he'd travelled worldwide to please his fans and himself in countless countries and stood to face us at the end, to accept us and to accept our warmth. If i was to make a complaint that he likes to face his musician's during the songs i would possibly be an unappreciative lunatic.

I don't think he does it out of spite - but his back is usually to Stu with this set up, and sometimes Donnie too - so that kind of defeats the purpose.
Granted we come to hear the music, but it's annoying for fans whether they are in the front rows or up in the rafters.

It doesn't matter to me if Dylan faces the audience or not.
I am there for the music.
There is a huge difference between being a artist and a entertainer.
Dylan is a artist. There are may musicians who are entertainers
with witty stage banter and gimmicks. For me, that is more annoying than anything. Anything that doesn't have to do with the music detracts from the music.
One of my major pet peeves is when musicians say things like "Hello, Pittsburgh"(or whatever city that they are in.) How exciting that the musician knows where he is. Saying things like that from the stage will get a easy cheer from the crowd. A Pavlonian response, IMO.

well, I've paid 500 bucks a seat, and let me tell you, I would be pissed if I had his back to me. I paid 500 bucks to look at his face. If it was just for the music, I would have downloaded the bootleg.

SHUT THE F UP.....A.H'S
See the man with the stage fright,
Just standin’ up there to give it all his might.
He got caught in the spotlight,
But when we get to the end
He wants to start all over again.
