here´s another translation, Mick "Romanian builder, who will be investigated for manslaughter."
i think that guy is going to be charged
I don´t know what´s the matter with Thomas´ clothes!
He always showed up very well dressed at the concerts
and if he was not as good dressed as usual when that guy below
had seen him, I just don´t know what these informations
doing in this article?!
The carabinieri company of Salò managed to contact the sister of Thomas Eckhardt, 39enne German found dead last Thursday in Gardone Riviera, among sterpaglie the garden Bellariva, undergoing restructuring. The sister said that her brother was a big fan of Bob Dylan, and moved to follow the concerts (there was been a Milan days ago). He added that essendole impossible to come to Italy, charge a lawyer for practices repatriation of remains.
Meanwhile the body of Thomas is still in the hospital all'obitorio Gavardo. There remains the possibility of investment by the van carried out (that evening, sull'asfalto wet) from a Romanian builder, who will be investigated for manslaughter.
The affair involved the edicolante di Fasano, Claudio Maffei, which also sells food. "Probably I met Eckhardt - says Maffei -. It was petty expenses. I had the impression of a certain neglect in clothing. I thought that perhaps dimorasse in a house abandoned. Just 50 metres from the place of discovery is a villa uninhabited for years. SE.ZA
The Bellariva Hotel on the northern edge of Lake Garda in Via Franz Kafka is NOT the place where Thomas' body was found. The body was found in the garden of the OLD Bellariva Hotel on the western side of the lake between Gardone and Fasano!
QUOTE: this is place poor thomas was killed, I suppose.
The abandoned hotel is situated between the village of Fasano (at the western shore of the Lake of Garda)and the lake itself, at the street no. 45bis.
If someone wants to put some flowers to this tragic place, maybe the photos below help to identify it.
R. Wasser
Were those photos taken in the right place? The OLD Bellariva Hotel on the western shore of the lake? Are they new photos? Is the tape marking the actual spot?
Well, on the photo whitch shows the lakeside from above I simply marked the area where I suppose the old hotel would be approxemately.
Whereas the other is taken from the webside of a local paper. It came together with an article of the accident (with no new facts), so it must be taken at the very place where Thomas met his fate. I simply thought it would give a good idea where to place some flowers, should someone be in that area.
Sorry, I don't remember the URL, but I would search for it, if requested. I also can try to upload it once again in better quality, once I found out how to do so.

Thanks a lot! This is very kind. Your efforts are appreciated.
i think the reference to the shabby clothes could be about the person who was driving the van? the shopkeeper (who witnessed the accident) seemed to know him...
thomas often spoke highly of another huge bobcat called (if i remember correctly) gay moynihan, who sadly passed away a few years back. in fact, she once gave him a free ticket for a bob gig. quite appropriately, they are both now first in line for the great bob gig in the sky!
I am really sad to hear the bad news. I first met Thomas in 2004 and since then I had met him again in several European Bob concerts and he was always very kind to me. We european Dylan fans are somehow a big family. I last saw him in Salzburg where we chatted after the show, as we did every time we met. He kept surprising me with the amount of detail he remembered about me. Also his huge memory of Dylan concerts. I am Samantha Brown's "greek friend" who took the previous picture there. A terrible way to go and really, really sad news.
