The problem is that we are not able to contact Thomasī sister before
the weekend.
If anybody who knew Thomas give just a few EURO we get enogh to be a help for his sister.
The final decicion about the possibilitys above have to make his sister.
The money will be transfered to Thomasī family and if they donīt want
that money we can donate it to charity in Thomasī name.
The major point is that we do just a little thing for him.
All the collected money goes to Cathīs paypal-account first
and she weill report about the incomes.

Is it possible ti stickify a thread dedicated to fundraising for this purpose? Or put something on the home page? (even though I don't usually visit the home page, myself).

That way we can keep track of progress without having to unnecessariy bump it all the time.

Admin is working on putting something up, most likely on the front page, once confirmations are made with all parties involved as to who the money is going to, exact purposes, etc.

Thomasī sister just called me and we had a long talk.
A couple of days ago I sent her the tribute-thread which
I printed on paper.
She is very thankful and deeply moved about our effort
all around the world.

Thomasī body is still in Italy and she got no idea when
it is possible to bring him back.
The italien police still investigates the case and
it looks like the guy who hit Thomasī with the van
has hide the already dead or deathly woundet Thomas in
that bushes. The police found a car-key in his hand
who doesnīt belong to him and Thomasī car is not found yet.
The communications with the italian authorithys are hard and
they wonīt give Thomasī body free untill the case is closed.
They are not a hundred percent sure about the theory that Thomasī died by a car-accident actually.

Thomasī got no insureance at all and his sister who is the
only family-member he got is alone with all the upcoming
costs. Only to bring back Thomasī body costs thousands of EUROS. Not to speak about the funeral etc.

I think we made the right decision to collect money for his
family. I prefer to get all the donated money directly to his sister from which she can pay a lot of costs.
Many of bills came in already and she has no idea at the moment how to get this through.

I appeal to everyone to give what is possible to give
Thomasī sister a little helb in these dark hours.

When i told her that we got almost 700 EUROS already and that it came from all around the world she said that
it is unbelievable how good this community works and
she was very suprised how many people knew Thomas.

Very sad to learn this news. Bob's songs CONNECT people, so when one of them leaves, feeling sad naturally. May he rest in peace with what he loves - one of them must be bob dylan's music.
