The Never Ending Pool

I love the 11/6/89 setlist that I found crumpled up in front of the stage. The concert took place in Blacksburg, Virginia on the campus of Virginia Tech.

although i have a somewhat extensive collection of cd-r boots, the only original, pressed copies i have are silver discs of the finjan club show, "live usa" (from 1986, w/ petty & the heartbreakers) and a vinyl copy of "a hard rain's gonna fall" (not the one with the adelphi theatre '66 show and the studs terkel interview, but a west german issue from the 80's that contains some early 60's stuff, off the top of my head "bear mountain picnic", "man in the street" and maybe some songs from riverside church--it doesn't even have a page on bobsboots as far as i can tell).

i have a few of the more elusive officially released things--namely the TTRH baseball cd, the carnegie hall show, a couple copies of the "rollin' and tumblin'" EP, the victoria's secret "love sick" disc, "live at the gaslight" and the "chronicles: vol 1 6-song sampler".

if my house was burning down and i could only grab one dylan item on my frantic way out, it would doubtless be my copy of harry belafonte's "midnight special", which of course sees bob's first official studio performance.

well, it would have to be the guitar pick Bob gave my youngest son on stage, along with the setlist he let my older son take up from the stage and the drumsticks from the same show from Winston. London Ontario mother's day 1996. it took place at my alumni school, hometown, at Alumni Hall, UWO.

the soft, goofy smile on my face i get every time i fire him up.... other than that, everything else is easily replaced... cept maybe for the full version of R&C which was kinda hard to get.

A signed framed vinyl John Wesley Harding. The signature originates from shortly after the album came out and was given to a well known musician in L.A. who sold it on and wished to remain anonymous.

The most important possession dylan has left me is his music. That's one thing no thief or fire can take away from me. His music is in my head and will always stay there.

and if the above answer doesn't count, i wouldn't want to lose my copy of the 1966 Mono Blonde on Blonde with Claudia Cardinales picture on it or the lyrics book my girlfriend bought me a couple of years back.
Everything else is replaceable.
