Dylan hadn't performed "I Dreamed I Saw St. Augustine" in nearly 13 years when he gave these four performances, in 2005:

- Boston, MA, USA 17-Apr-05
- Atlantic City, NJ, USA 24-Apr-05
- Birmingham, AL, USA 05-Jun-05
- Dublin, Ireland 26-Nov-05

Is there a consensus as to which is the best performance of these, and if so, then which one is it?

the first had palpable energy and presence, and not having been played in so long,
gives it a big thumbs up, especially if you were fortunate to be there

I was at that Boston show... it was by far the highlight. Fantastic version and still comes through quite well in the mp3.
