A superb show captured in very good Crystal Cat sound. And for my money, Bob's best sustained vocal of the Euro tour. The voice sounds much smoother than many other 07 shows. And it was a particularly strong night for both the MT tracks and Denny. Cracking versions of Rollin' and Levee. Some beautiful guitar on Deal and a terrific Spirit (some vocal bends from Bob that I thought were completely beyond his range at this point). Throw in a blistering It's Alright Ma, a very nice Hattie and a Red Sky played on the guitar and it all adds up to one of those gigs that you can sit down and enjoy pretty much from start to finish.

Yeah, that was just about the time when "It's Alright Ma" was getting into top form. A good Denny Freeman show.

And of course we get to skip on the recording the legally enforced break under french law which saw an interval after Rollin' (great version-the boys obviously gave it more welly and treated it like a mini set closer which it effectively was-Freeman really let the handbrake off).
