The fatuousness of this thread title is doing my head in almost as much as the Spice Girls banner on a Bob Dylan site.
Jeez, raggedclown, isn't that a little harsh? I decided to re-familiarize myself with the word, fatuousness. Here goes:
Source: WordNet (r) 1.7
fatuousness
n[oun] : a ludicrous folly; "the crowd laughed at the absurdity of the clown's behavior" [syn: absurdity, fatuity, silliness]
I posted the excerpt (and link) thinking it may be of some interest to some, and perhaps, in turn, generate a bit of discussion. Nothing more, nothing less.
Furthermore, the title to the article itself didn't apply to the section that I highlighted in bold text. So, I created something that I thought would cover it. What's absurd, fatuous, or silly about any of this?
