The Never Ending Pool

I'm new to the Dylan Pool so I'm sorry if this has been posted before but I have been a Dylan fan for quite some time and was recently wondering, in hopes of gaining a more "full" Dylan experience, what was his worst concert ever?

Usually the Stuttgart 1991 (June 17) show gets this award.
There's even a boot of the show around ("Name that tune&quot as well as a DVD of the show (see www.dvdylan.com).
I was at that show, and though it surely had an unbeatable terribble start, and Dylan was obviously drunk/stoned/sick/whatever the show had it's moments and imho was more entertaining than some of the autopilot-show of the last 2,3 years.

I remember this topic has been discussed a couple of times back in the days of the old pool, and someone pointed out another show from summer 1991 that was even more "worse", can't remember which one this was, think some Festival in France....

Mitdfyns Festival 1991 i think you're thinking of. That's one of the worst shows ever by anyone. Stuttgart is appalling for the first half hour but borders on the competent form time to time. Trail of The Buffalo was good.

Mitdfyns is truly diabolical. I've seen pub bands with 17 year old guitarists on acid with missing fingers, no bass player and with stage fright put on better shows than that.

any way to get that concert? I've seen the one from stuttgart but not this other

stuttgart 91 had a bad start (but in my view, funny one) with new morning, but it got quite good towards the end. but i am a 91 lover. the Milan show from that tour (a week or so before stuttgart was much worse)

i'd say helsinki (i think) in 87. there was one of those Temples in flames shows that was horrible and from memory it was that one

I saw Nashville, but not ACL 07 so only have listened to the recordings of ACL --

all three shows sorta seem similar to me...

Any of the shows he did with the Dead in 2003 and Glasgow barrowlands 2004. Ive not heard the Nashville 07 shows but I expect the parts with Jack White qualify them as the worst for a few years.

By Bob yes but the singing along by the audience it was a Bob Dylan show not the Spice Girls.
