The Never Ending Pool

I really want to see this, but haven't yet. What are other peoples opinions on this? Anyone know where I can get my paws on it? And how long is it really?

Some will tell you it was a self-indulgent mess, or too long (the 4hr one). I say, it could be Bob's most creative showcase. There is so much to the film in terms of layering and the Dylan persona.

There is an edited version of about 2hrs. This one is more commonly found.

I used to have a copy...but...people are crazy.

I'm looking for a copy of the 4hr...so let's form a line behind Nutopia.

We should get a vine, of sorts, going. If we can find anyone seed...?

I believe I have this in VCD format in the 4 hour version. I found much of it interesting, but as a whole, it didn't make a lot of sense to me. I only watched it once, though, so maybe on another watch-through I would find it more cohesive and intelligible. Let me see what I have at home and if it isn't the DVD and if no one else offers the DVD for the vine, I'd be happy to begin the vine with my VCDs on one condition: I don't want to mail it overseas.

That would be great! I'm in the US and will mail anywhere if it starts.

There are 38 clips of R&amp;C in the video section ('Clips' - about 2'30&quot; total.

Well, it takes a whole afternoon, night, or whatever, and you shouldn't be too tired to wach it in order not to fall asleep.
But it's highly interesting, especially in a historical way.
I think it's just awesome to have all this footage on the '75 tour with R&amp;C.

I lost my copy before I watched it, but just found a torrent (just search &quot;renaldo and clara torrent&quot; on google) that downloads pretty fast. Think it's the shorter version though.

I have the full 4-hour version on DVD. Just PM me your address.

As a side note, I absolutely love this film because there are so many little things that you keep picking up on as you watch it again and again. I can understand why some people don't like it, though. If nothing else, the concert footage is worth the watch.

Since Nutopia suggested it, I'd nominate him to get a copy first of the DVD being offered, so long as he can pass it along. I would like to get in on this vine so I can replace my VCD version. Unless someone else has priority, I'll get behind Nutopia in the vine with a promise to pass it on to the next who requests involvement. Thanks for the offer standin_on_the_gallows!
