In the next few weeks, work will begin on transforming this:

The old Point was a barn of a venue, but over the years it hosted some great show by Bob and others (Springsteen's 'Live In Dublin' was recorded/filmed there).





One of my favourite Bob performances of all all time ('Visions of Johanna', Nov 27, 2005) was delievered at The Point.



The new complex (to be known as 'The Point Village') will include a 14,000 seater amphitheatre-style concert venue, due to open in 2009.

There was a great place here called the Main Point right outside Philly that has long closed down. It held about 200 people and every now and than somebody BIG would show up there.

I belive there's 1970's field recordings of Bruce and Warren Z floating arround.

Ah, sad news...heard a lot about that place, and always wanted to go to a show there.
