At least Brett gets to play again and that other guy can finally start with the Packers and hopefully this mess is done with.
It's not uncommon for players to go to other teams as they get to the end of their career while their current/former team has to prepare for the future.
So glad I don't have to hear Brett Favre speculation every 5 seconds anymore.
done? its only begun. brett has just moved to the media capital of the world. now it's his arrival. his battle with the jets quarterbacks. his acceptance by his teammates. his possible re-retirement if he doesn't like new york.
the list is endless. the tabloid headlines about his romance with john madden and if tony romo has claimed madden's heart in brett's absence and what brett can do to mend fences with the big guy. and on and on. and the continuing green bay subplot of how aaron rogers and the packers are doing now that brett is gone. the green bay fans' reaction to his absence. recheduling brett's jersey retirement. will it ever happen? who's at fault? what will this mean to brett's legacy? not to mention all those madden o8 boxes with brett in a packer uniform. shall i continue
it makes o.j. seem like a mere diversion. if the pads do fit he cannot quit!
he's not a news story; he's an industry.
