Does Bob Dylan hate Hibbing? One of the YouTube clips that was featured along with Frank Hibbing's town shows a gal walking down Bob Dylan's street & she says that Bob Dylan hates Hibbing & that the town is obsessed with him. Thanks fourth.

I'd imagine he has very mixed feelings about it - more to do with his feelings about 'Robert Zimmerman' than with Hibbing itself.


I'd like to see the full 'Tangled Up In Bob' movie




Whatever he may have felt about Hibbing, watching the first video above, about Greenwich Village in 1960, I can easily understand why he, or anyone, would have felt drawn there.

had you seen my "Chronicling Chronicles" thread/project when it was on the Dylan Pool? It's currently being a recluse, but I would like to continue it somewhere.

Bobby only goes to places that are referred to as "the village"

The theme is somewhat flexible - kind of 'I was young when I supposedly left home, only to find that I had no home to leave in the first place'

all bits and pieces related to Hibbing, New York and the U.S.A. in general, especially in the post-WW2/Cold War period, should fit in here
