would you say that every view you held dear 20 years ago is still valid, and that everything you do in 2010 should be understood in light of what you thought and said 20 years ago? if so, you haven't progressed at all as a person. which i think Bob Dylan has.

Of course. In fact, I don't know if I care about Bob Dylan doing commercials. It certainly isn't one of my major concerns in this world. What I was saying is that some people have quite well argumented views against selling one's music to commercials, and one of those people used to be Bob Dylan.

Who cares about the half time show? Bands take twenty minutes to warm up. Why bother with the music acts. I love the Who but a melody of hit songs just don't work for me. Give the young people the Super Bowl back! Tom Petty played the best Super Bowl show. He played the Blues: Big Blues!!!
