Possible line up change for the july 4th show 8 Months, 2 Weeks ago
Hey everyone i was on Mellencamp's site today and someone posted that the line up may have Mellencamp on before Willie, because the show is being billed as Willie Nelson's 4th of July Picnic. Don't know how true this may be but just a heads up. If this is so It could move Bob up to.

I totally forgot that Willie always holds his annual 4th of July Picnic and he's playing this ballpark tour thing this year. I would not be surprised if Willie closes the show. He usually plays for several hours during his picnics.

I think the last time Willie was on the ballpark tour...the only time he and Bob played together on stage was at picnic. (The previous year they did "Heartland" a few times if memory serves me). Also, is Willie's son with him? Bob had him come out on stage with him in the past too.

Having Willie play last will help me out. My wife doesn't want to stand for the whole show, I want to be on the rail for Dylan's set, so if he plays earlier we can move to seats after he is done.
Any suggestions on how early to line up before the gates open? I bought though the bobdylan.com presale so I get in 30 minutes before the majority of people.

Standin_on_the_gallows is on the rail in South Bend. It looks like the rumor about Willie closing the show might be true: Standin texted me that Mellencamp is definitely going on immediately after the Wiyos rather than Willie.
